About Queer as Peas

Hi, we’re the queer peas on the block!

We started up this service directory as a way for the LGBTI community to find and support LGBTI service providers, and also as a means for LGBTI service providers to support the community in return!

We started this site because we noticed that there is growing support out there for all LGBTI people – and this is great – I’m sure you’ll agree, however there are so many businesses out there putting their hands up as LGBTI ‘friendly’ – but actually have no connections to the LGBTI community (other than wanting our business!).

Now – don’t get us wrong.  We know that in many cases – LGBTI / straight / crooked / blue / green / elephant or other, people simply want the best service provider for the job they need done.  So we know this site isn’t for everyone – and that’s totally cool.  However, if you want a service done, and you’d feel more comfortable knowing that the people providing the service having something in common with you, for whatever reason you may have, then give us a go!

It doesn’t cost you anything to have a search around and speak to a few businesses.  And hey – you might just find that the LGBTI service providers you find on here – ARE the best in the business!  It’ll be a win-win don’t you think!
